The College of Business and Entrepreneurship offers a comprehensive portfolio of undergraduate and graduate degree programs designed to meet the needs of modern learners and employers alike. Undergraduate majors include Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, and Information Systems Management. At the graduate level, students can pursue a Master of Business Administration with General or Entrepreneurship tracks, as well as a fully online Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. Across all programs, students develop critical thinking, leadership, and ethical decision-making skills that prepare them for long term professional success.
Guided by its vision to lead in digital engagement, organizational leadership, entrepreneurial practices, and global partnerships, the College emphasizes applied learning and real-world relevance. Its mission centers on delivering excellence in education through experiential learning and practical skill development that embraces innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking. This mission is reflected throughout the curriculum, classroom instruction, and co-curricular opportunities offered to students.
Professional and leadership development are central to the student experience. Through the MUST Program, Mastering and Understanding Soft Skills Training, students strengthen essential competencies such as communication, teamwork, professionalism, and adaptability. The program includes workshops, executive engagement, resume and interview preparation, and leadership practice, ensuring students graduate with both academic knowledge and workplace readiness.
Entrepreneurship and innovation are further supported through the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, known as CEED. CEED serves as an innovation hub focused on developing entrepreneurial skills, supporting new business creation and driving economic growth within the university and surrounding community. Its equipping Entrepreneurs for Success initiative provides hands on learning and mentorship, including guidance on launching ventures and integrating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Through partnerships with organizations such as JPMorgan Chase, CEED connects students and aspiring entrepreneurs with real-world expertise and resources.
Faculty excellence is a defining strength of the College. Faculty members are accomplished scholars, practitioners, and educators who actively engage students while contributing to their academic and professional fields. Recent achievements include national recognition, peer-reviewed research publications, conference presentations on experiential learning, and participation in international faculty development initiatives. These accomplishments underscore the College’s commitment to academic quality, innovation, and global engagement.
Student achievement is equally notable. Students consistently excel in competitions, certifications and applied-learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom. Accounting students participate in IRS-supported Volunteer Income Tax Assistance certification as part of their coursework, allowing them to provide free tax preparation services to the community while earning professional credentials. Business Ethics students have competed in sponsored case competitions addressing timely issues such as Generative AI in the workplace, delivering strong ethical analyses and professional presentations. Hospitality and Management Studies students have earned top placements at national conferences while engaging directly with industry leaders through site visits and leadership panels.
The College’s strong industry partnerships further enhance student learning and career outcomes. Engagement with corporate partners includes guest speakers, mentorship, case competitions, internships, and networking opportunities that connect academic learning to professional practice. These relationships help students gain insight into industry expectations while building valuable professional networks.
Looking ahead, the College of Business and Entrepreneurship is expanding its impact through the launch of B-CU Futures in Spring 2026. This initiative will introduce new forward-thinking degree programs aligned with workforce demand and emerging industries, including Esports and Gaming, Digital Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, and an MBA track in Healthcare Administration.
