Entrepreneur Spotlight

Delivering a consistent customer experience takes more than great service—it requires intentionality, adaptability and a commitment to problem solving. We asked local entrepreneurs: What’s the biggest challenge you face in delivering a consistent customer experience, and how do you address it? Their answers reveal how purpose and persistence shape the way they serve.

“For me, the biggest challenge in delivering a consistent customer experience is balancing the pace of innovation with the daily needs of the florists we serve. We’ve documented over 5,000 unique feature requests—and they still come in every day. The more we solve pain points, the more florists push us to keep innovating, which sometimes feels like an endless race but also guarantees we’ll never run out of ways to improve. What keeps us going is the praise and appreciation we hear when our hard work makes their workflows better—that’s when the juggling act feels worth it.”

“The biggest challenge in our industry is not having enough caregivers or being able to provide quality care. At Seniors Helping Seniors, we’ve been able to bypass the industry standards with our unique approach to home health care, focusing on hiring qualified, mature adults to be caregivers. They provide relatability, reliability, empathy, and overall higher quality of care.”

“At the new Compass by Margaritaville in Flagler Beach, the biggest challenge we face in delivering a consistent customer experience is realizing that our customers have diverse preferences, and these expectations do vary over time. We have found that an effective way to address this is by utilizing data from our CRM and customer profiles to try to personalize their experience with us while still giving them our signature Margaritaville escapism. We also empower our front line to use the right tools to resolve issues immediately and successfully.”

“It’s important to me that everyone who contacts me has a warm, engaging experience. Because I spend much of my time working directly with clients, I’ve streamlined my backend systems and added a CRM to help maintain consistency. It sends timely reminders, keeps communication clear, and allows me to be fully present with clients in their homes—and with my family when I’m not.”

“The biggest challenge I face in delivering a consistent customer experience is managing my time effectively for my clients while maintaining the personalized, boutique service that sets Marketing 2 Go apart. To address this, I’ve leveraged technology to its fullest potential, streamlining workflows with tools like Sintra for task management and Sendible for social media scheduling, which allows me to work more efficiently without sacrificing quality. I’ve also trained my AI assistant to handle content creation and scheduling, freeing me to focus on strategy and client communication.”

“Setting appropriate expectations for my clients is key. The insurance market is constantly changing, so it’s important to help clients understand what may be coming around the corner. By keeping our finger on the pulse of the industry and maintaining constant communication, we’re able to provide a fact-based look at what the future may hold for the market.”
